Today we explore the southeast of Gran Canaria.

We start with a 20 kilometres climb (6-8% rise) through the 'valley of the thousand palm trees'.

We leave the picturesque town of Fataga behind and cycle up to San Bartolomé on almost 1,000 metres.

On our way back we enjoy a long downhill ride and spectacular views until we finally reach the coast again.

From this point the steady trade wind takes us back to the south ? time to relax!
