Hiking in the heartland for anybody.

Day excursions with an easy or difficult hiking into the mountains on hiking paths and tracks with uneven subsoil for EVERYBODY, for people with at least a basic physical condition.

Transfer time from Playa del Inglés (office Happy Hiking) up to the hiking area, via mountain roads (a lot of bends!), is about 1-1,30 hour (this is depending the hiking area).

Mostly, depending hiking area (!), on the way up to the start the guests have the possibility to go to the toilet, drink something if they want, etc...during an intermediate stop.

During the hiking tour some breaks are planned to enjoy the landscape, to give some more explanations about island and people, and vegetation.

On the way back a stop is organised in a local bar into the mountains to have an extra drink...on own account.

Most trips are also possible for people with acrophobia! Please check by booking!

We organise 3 different trips per calendar week. The tempo is low! Our hiking trips are NO RUNNING excursions! You stay longer then 1 week?  More then 3 different tours possible!

* Explanation of our hiking levels: Period May 5th - November 1st, 2008.   

Level 1: Easy, between 150 and 300 altimeter, differences in altitude uphill. For everybody with a basic physical condition or more. Tracks/footpaths uneven, can be slippery(gravel), but not too long up or downhill( max. 1 hour uphill in total). Not too steep, not too bluff. Mostly large tracks/paths. Loose stones always possible. Time on the way on foot: 3-3.5 hours.  

Level 2: Average, between 300 and 500 altimeter, differences in altitude uphill. Also for people with acrophobia. Tracks/Paths uphill between 1-1,5 hours, possibly steep. Smaller footpaths possible but not dangerous, also wider king paths. (camino real) Time on the way on foot: 3.5-4 hours.
